Concerns around safety in Isarel, especially because of the threat of war.
The students trip to Israel is not immediate. They’ll spend 3-4 years of the program in Kenya before going for their 1 year clinicals in Israel.
The conflicts in Israel are localised, especially the occupied territories of Gaza and The West Bank.
With all the history of conflicts in Israel, normal pilgrims to Israel have never had any issue where their safety was compromised.
Concerns around safety in Kenya
Kisumu is reputed to be one of the safest countries in the whole of Eastern and Southern Africa. It is also one the cleanest. And attracts thousands of visitors every year due to its location on Lake Victoria and cultural attractions.
